Results expected after implementation

• development of the research – development – innovation infrastructure in INCDMTM Bucharest, which will be able to conduct research – development at European level (a research centre, modern and efficient, equipped with research – development facilities);

• establishing contacts and collaborations with new national production units, to increase their economic potential, improve and raise the level of research in the areas addressed by the project;

• increase in research capacity. Purchasing last generation research equipment that will address new areas of applied research, in line with European and global trends;

• increase in direct private costs of R&D projects. Established target is to raise annual funds (in RDI projects which generate no profit) in the industrial sector by mechanisms such as joint financing in R&D projects, consulting, measurement / analysis. To achieve this goal, we promote practical applications of research in high technology fields;

• Increase in international visibility. Existence of new infrastructure makes INCDMTM teams more attractive to international collaboration and will allow for more substantial involvement in European research programs (especially FP7 and bilateral cooperation programs). International former and present partners in projects and international proposals have already declared their interest in the possible exploitation of the resources of this centre’s equipment: Cardiff University UK, Bath University UK, Renishaw UK, DeLong INSTRUMENTS AS Czech Republic, Finland VTT, Cousso SAS France, Belgium Argon, MEC Cardiff UK, Belgium Metris, University of Minho Portugal;

• Maintaining jobs in research;

• Creating a management and coordination team within INCDMTM Bucharest that will promote equality of opportunity;

• Creating new jobs in research – development that are aimed at attracting young researchers and their specialization in the project;

• Project presentation webpage for increasing visibility of Structural Funds and promoting project results;
