The project consists in setting up a research center for intelligent mechatronic autonomous airborne systems will have a large range of utility in securing rapid and effective objectives andinterventions in all areas where access is difficult or would directly endanger the safety of operators.
Thus, in the center CERMISO will be made the conceptual basis of MIADA type systems (basically a combination of concepts UAV and RPA controlled by a very strong artificial intelligence) having not only an especially optimization in security and securing objectives and interventions, but with possibilities for expansion into any other area where it is wanted its use. The novelty will leave from the overall approach concept which is modular, so on a how airborne (optimized as speed, duration offlight, artificial intelligence, port, transport) can be quickly adapted to other modules type sensor and controller specialized to the desired use. The device will have an artificial intelligence that will facilitate the task-automatically, without operator intervention, including replenishment supply.
Artificial intelligence will work parallel to the operator maneuver and manual control, and will ensure its own security including the mishandling. Also on this level it will take into account the real- time route in conjunction with flight autonomy, assuring home return of the equipment or at a point of energy as close pasture. Special attention will be paid to the system of "anti-hacking" because, at least in the commercial drones, have already appeared intelligent ways of theft / embezzlement them.
All results obtained will lead to the achievement possibility in our country of such equipment, engaging in this activity besides research excellence and Romanian firms in the productive sector to produce the first such devices indigenous with including all necessary accessories to any type of configuration per filed of use.
As much attention will be given to the opportunity to fly in formation, the patrol type with autonomy unlimited for areas surveillance continuously, 24 of the 24 hours, without operator intervention on flight control or for fueling.
R&D Laboratory will be located within the premises INCDMTM of Sos. Pantelimon, Nr. 6-8, Sector 2, Bucharest. The location is a space on the 4th floor, with a total area of 50.76 sq, 100% dedicated to the project.
Project financing will help to increase the capacity and performance of INCDMTM in international cooperation in CD.
